about the foundation
The Children’s Health Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation, was formed
in the fall of 2007 for the purpose of improving children’s health
care in our community. The Foundation provides coordinated quality improvement
initiatives for Alliance members, adoption of standards and measures for
children’s health care, education about those standards and measures,
and advocacy for children’s health care benefits. These are accomplished
through the Alliance’s pediatric community and collaboration with insurers,
the government, employers, pediatricians and other health care providers.
The Foundation and Children’s Health Alliance share certain members of the Board of Directors. However, any activity related to the Foundation is for the sole purpose of quality improvement and educational activity.
